A guided field tour of the McCain-Syngenta Corn and Soybean Demonstration Site will be held Monday September 15, 2014 from 1:00 – 3 pm for farmers and community members. The tour will be held at the ÆßÉ«ÊÓÆµ Agricultural Campus in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia.
Join Doug MacDonald, NSCDI and Bill Thomas, Perennia to tour trials demonstrating seed varieties and treatments such as seed depth, spacing and speed, various herbicide treatments and others. There is no charge to attend the event but those who RSVP will be provided with handouts from the trials. Please come dressed appropriately for weather – the event will take place rain or shine. Those attending will meet in room 254 of the Haley Institute at 1pm and will leave for the field from there.
