What Was The HaliTRAC Survey?

The Halifax Travel Activity (HaliTRAC) Survey collected information regarding households' daily travel activities (when, where, why, who, using what, etc.). A better understanding of these activities will lead to better estimates of future needs for transportation as the Halifax Regional Municipality grows. This information will be used to help guide longterm transportation planning and investment decisions.听
